Urgent Speed Limit Reduction – Penfold Hill, Leeds – 15th May 2023 (Maidstone)
Kent County Council gives notice that for the safety of the public and workforce during roadworks, a temporary mandatory speed limit of 10 MPH will be imposed on a section of Penfold Hill, Leeds.
The 10 MPH applies between 09:30hrs and 15:30 hrs in both directions on Penfold Hill, Leeds, 100m both sides of Penfold Bridge over the River Ler, to the extent indicated by signage clearly displayed on site.
This takes effect on 15th May 2023 for up to 10 days. The restrictions will be lifted as soon as works are completed and it is safe to do so.
The restrictions have been introduced for the safety of the public and workforce whilst bridge parapet repairs are to be carried out by Kent County Council.
This Notice applies when the relevant signs and barriers are on site and is valid for a period of no more than 5 days.
